Beautiful simplicity: Antipasto afternoon

I kicked off a dinner party last week with a small selection of antipasto dishes, and whilst technically there was no cooking involved I thought it was still worth a mention here, simply because it looked so beautiful and was the perfect way to start the evening.

You can have antipasto any old time - nothing beats sitting back with a few friends, a good glass of wine and something delicious to graze on; especially on a sunny afternoon.

Sliced buffalo mozzarella with baby basil, lemon zest and olive oil

Prosciutto ribbons and mixed olives

Mini bruschetta rubbed with garlic, topped with cherry tomatoes, basil and spanish onion
